On Wednesday,18th November 2015 we held a WordPress Clinic for Users at The Skiff as part of WordUp Brighton, where attendees got the opportunity to have a 1-2-1 with Pragmatic Founder & Director, David Lockie. We saw WordPress hobbyists, web designers and web developers as well as business owners from a range of industries attending, who each got their own 15 minute 1-2-1 slot.
It was a great night full of helpful advice and solutions to our guest’s WordPress worries and dilemmas!
David shared his expert knowledge on the powerful WordPress CMS through the in-depth 1-2-1 sessions. He examined our guest’s websites on a large screen so that other attendees could learn from the sessions. David delved into our guest’s code to suggest solutions to their problems. To our guests who didn’t come with a specific dilemma and just wanted to learn ways to improve their website from an expert, David advised on hosting solutions, themes and plugins.
Whilst our 1-2-1s with David were taking place, some of Pragmatic’s WordPress Developers and Designers were there with their laptops out, offering advice and helping solve some of our guests’ WordPress issues. Our team got the opportunity to discuss how our guests can get the most out of their site, as well as chatting about working professionally in WordPress with fellow Web Designer and Developer attendees.
Team Kenya learnt some new WordPress tips from Pragmatic’s Tom Still and Tom Doidge.
Gerry from Positive Comedy and FT Gamechangers enjoyed his 1-2-1 and had this to say:
