We’re sponsoring Anpris – a Namibian publishing firm

We recently caught up with Jake Wilson, our previous Office Assistant, who left us back in April this year to commence some serious travelling. Jake is working with a company in Namibia, aiding marketing efforts and profile enhancement on issues surrounding change in the existing education system. The company, Anpris, is currently the only organisation to create educational publications in all 9-11 languages spoken in Namibia.

We were excited when Jake approached us with the opportunity to sponsor his journey, and since we eagerly accepted his request last month, the money is proving to make a positive change to Anpris’ journey.

“Following Pragmatic’s sponsorship, Anpris planned three trips to eight different regions – Hardap, Karas, Oshikoto, Oshana, Omusati, Ohangwena, Kunene and Kavango”.

Jake is currently managing Anpris’ Facebook page and website. He is trying to make these outlets more effective at contacting their audience in Namibia who aren’t used to digital platforms. The main strategy of communication being: driving to all the regions of the country and speaking to both regional educational directors as well as directly to schools.

Jake has also begun collecting photos in certain regions, such as the diamond ghost town of Luderitz and the Fish River Canyon, to prepare for blog posts we will be publishing in due course.

We’re excited about Jake’s next adventure. Stay tuned for updates!
