An overview of our London GDPR Forum

GDPR Forum, London, November 2017

On the 25th May 2018, any businesses across Europe and the UK that hold data will be affected by dramatic changes to Data Privacy Laws. Due to the volume of information regarding the changes, we decided that we should host our very own GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) forum. Our first event was held in September and after receiving such positive feedback, we thought it best to arrange another.

Pragmatic would like to personally thank all of our attendees, it was a pleasure to meet you all. We hope you left the forum feeling more prepared for the upcoming changes.

We’d also like to give massive thanks to our great speakers Gilbert, Daniel and Ben for your informative talks. You can view their slides at the end of this post.

Our agenda for the day
David Lockie (Pragmatic): The Role of a Digital Agency
Gilbert Hill (Independent): From ‘Compliance Nightmare’ to ‘Competitive Advantage’
Daniel Hedley (Irwin Mitchell): A bit of Myth Busting
Ben Westwood (eBay): Reviewing Process, Procedure and Reporting for GDPR
